Program Overview
The Scientific Research Group’s Software Engineering group provides IT services to Healthcare Management Solutions (HMS), a leading health care solutions company. Services include software development, database design and development, and consulting.
The SRG team currently is working on two HMS contracts for the national Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Significant Accomplishments
- Providing CMS with Web and Client applications that are being used by CMS Regional Offices and the Accrediting Agencies to improve their current processes and provide an efficient means to share data;
- Providing data mining services which allows CMS to interpret the millions of data records they currently house; and
- Supporting a current CMS application that provides an avenue for the CMS Regional Offices to share their survey information with the CMS Central office.
