Currently, we specialize in the area of small robotics development and manufacturing for DoD and civilian applications. We have transferred DoD technology in early development, performed Design For Manufacture, Design For Assembly, and Design For End User ((DFM, DFA, and DFEU) analyses, then transitioned the final design to production. For example, the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division awarded Innovative Response Technologies, Inc. (a WVHTC Foundation wholly-owned for-profit subsidiary) a $9.6 million contract to build 2425 BomBotsTM in December 2005. Delivery began in April 2006. IRT, Inc. used the Fusion Factory software to develop its highly-efficient manufacturing system. We have received additional contracts, and expect this to be a high-growth area in the future.
